Buaji breaks down in Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai

This week in Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, Akshara is constantly trying to reach Buaji's on her phone but isn’t able to. Akshara gets to know that there is something wrong with buaji. Akshara is shocked to see Buaji at the Singhania House, as Buaji's son said that she is with him. Akshara finds out the problem with Buaji. Planning for Daddaji and Bhabhi Maa‘s  40th Wedding Anniversary starts, where finally Buaji breaks down in front of Akshara. 

Pramad forces himself on Kumud

This week in SaraswatiChandra,Pramad, enraged by Naveen, vents out his anger on Kumud. He tries to get physical with her and forces her to drink after she resists her advances. SC sees inebriated Kumud and realises that Pramad is damaged beyond repair.  Kumud, however, hasn't given up hopes of transforming Pramad. 

Saubhagyadevi asks Kumud to observe the Teej fast but Kumud decides against it until Pramad accepts her as his wife. She decides to tell SBD by writing a letter to her. But Kalika replaces Kumud's letter with another one stating that Kumud will surely fast. While Kalika gets fruits for Kumud, she also plots to send SBD and her friends to go to Kumud's room to meet the fasting Bahu at the same time. SBD is upset with Kumud but Kumud outsmarts Kalika by revealing that she did keep the fast, not for Pramad but for her mother-in-law.  Saras feels bad for Kumud and gets to know that all these are Kalika’s doings and she really needs to be mended. 

It’s time to break the fast but Pramaadh has gone out to drink with his friends. Kumud promises SBD that she will not break her fast till she does not bring Pramad back home. SBD sends Kalika along with Kumud to bring Pramad back. At the bar, Kumud threatens Pramad in front of all his friends and brings him back home. Pramad who walks out angry, tries to avenge his insult by again hurting her at night and Kumud runs out of the the room in pain. She bumps into SC, they both agree to a pact that SC will figure out a way to throw Kalika out of the house and after that if Pramad still doesn't change then Kumud will have to leave her sasural and go back to her father's home. The next morning SC leaves to go to a neighbouring village on work and Kumud is trying to get past a usual day when VC, Dukhbaa and Gun arrive at her doorstep.

Pramad wants to consumate marriage

Everyone is enjoying the jhoolan of bal gopal in janamashtami . Buddhidhan thanks Kumud as Pramad joins them  after so many years. SaraswatiChandra comes to know about the Pramad- Kumud challenge as kumud tells pramad  not to  have alcohol  tonight or else she will not break her fast and thereafter in order to make kumud succeed Saraswati  hides the flask in his room. Finally pramad finds it and as per challenge goes to kumud and tells her that he won the challenge and shoves food in her mouth. SC still feels that Kumud won as he drank post midnight and he at the same time made her eat and broke her fast.  Kalika comes with the box from SaraswatiChandra's room and matches the ear ring with the Kumud’s and smiles on her victory. Kalika shows the box and shares all the information with Pramad makes him believe about Kumud’s relationship with Naveen Chandra . Pramad in great anger pulls Kumud before the whole family and shows all the stuffs. Everyone including Naveen and Kumud are shocked. Pramad proves Kumud characterless but in a great dramatic turn kusum saves her sister and tells them that she was in a relationship with Naveenchandra. Everyone gets shocked to this information. Kumud tries to tell the truth to Buddhidhan but he stops her himself and says sorry for all the happenings. Alakh and pramad have a face off in which it is revealed that pramaad is somehow responsible for her marriage with indresh and alakh compromised in order to save pramaad..Pramad gets aggressive and SaraswatiChandra intervenes. Later Pramad is drunk and  SaraswatiChandra tells Pramad about kumud's ex being dead, they get into a fight…SaraswatiChandra cannot tolerate Pramad’s misbehaviour and his disrespectful words for kumud  and finally breaks Kumud’s kasam and bashes Pramad hard. Pramad comes in beaten and mocks kumud by saying…Saras is dead. Kumud gets taken aback and runs to check Saras is fine or not. On coming back home being relieved that SaraswatiChandra is alive she is encountered by her enraged husband who wants her to have a consummation with him and give their relationship a different tangent. Kumud is shocked.

Bhabho shocked by Sandhya's guts

This week in Diya Aur Baati Hum, Sooraj and Sandhya are stuck in Ajmer and get delayed but finally reach against all odds. Sooraj celebrates the rakhi in a grand way and gives Chavi her necklace gift. This also does not melt Bhabho and she maintains her stand. Sooraj tells Sandhya that he has the faith that Bhabho will come to their new house just once in the whole day. This is his faith. Meena follows Sandhya and mistakens that Sandhya is wearing a gown. She plans to blow up the issue in front of Bhabho and bring Sandhya to trouble. Bhabho is shocked too when Meena tells her that Sandhya wore gowns in her new house but she claims that she is unaffected by it.

Surprise trip for Akshara-Naitik

This week in Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, Akshara and Naitik have arranged Dahi Handi celebration for Naksh on the occasion of Janamashtami. Amidst the celebrations some mishap is about to happen. Everyone is celebrating Krishna Janamotsav with unique decoration and performances.The Maheshwari family comes to the Singhania family as a surprise. Akshara gone sheepishly embarrassed. The Singhania family plans to renew their Passports, is there any surprise trip planned or Akshara and Naitik.

Amidst all the noise that has been going around, the sweetest is the one made by our new-born baby, AbRam.

He was born prematurely by several months but has finally come home.

Gauri and our whole family have been dealing with his health issues for a long time now.

As a family our silence on this subject has been because of the personal nature of emotional strife that we have been going through due to his health.

We wish to make a special mention and thank Dr. Jatin Shah for his expertise and contribution. We also wish to thank all the other doctors, nurses and medical staff who have made his life possible.  As trying were the times, we never lost hope that life always brings with it.

Just to put the record straight there was no sex determination for our child. The baby was born much before the speculations of ‘sex determination’ and other  ‘issues’ pertaining to the same were being raised in the media by some organisations.

Suffice to say his coming home puts to rest completely false and at times insensitive claims of sex determination and alleged illegalities.

We also apologise to all those other doctors and hospitals who had to face unwanted scrutiny and questioning by some parties.

Our son is a surrogate baby and the entire process is bound by strict confidentiality. We would appeal to all, to allow us to cherish this private moment as a family.

It seems unfortunate that I have to explain/clarify so many aspects for our new-born baby. Wish it were just a simple message of happiness on behalf of the family.

They say a baby is God’s opinion that the world should go on. Post this statement, I hope we all move on too.
